Indy Film Library presents: UK Short Film Showcase II

The screening will be preceded by an introduction from the filmmakers and followed by a chance to mingle in the bar.

Based in the Netherlands and the UK, Indy Film Library (IFL) grew out of the need of independent filmmakers to receive impartial feedback on their work. Since 2019, IFL has provided a hybrid service to artists who submit their work. Unlike a traditional film festival, IFL assesses every single film received. Meanwhile, it also hosts an annual screening selection of the very best films it receives.

Two years after our first ever event bringing a showcase of UK-based filmmakers to a cinema in London, we’re returning to the Garden Cinema!

IFL’s UK Short Film Showcase invites audiences in the UK to discover a world of independent art on their own doorstep. With screenings of films across the cinematic spectrum, and discussions with the artists behind them, the event offers viewers an introduction to a series of diverse and innovative films, showing life in the UK in a whole new light.
